Going Green Ideas what is that green residue on public urinals called?

Question by adam: what is that green residue on public urinals called?
I notice it around the fittings and such, its a green, buildup of sorts, Its on shiny pipe, I thought only copper corroded green… Any idea what it is?

It is called oxidation. Most chrome drain pipes are made out of brass and then chrome plated. You are seeing the brass oxidize.
