Question by joe: If im againts oil companies and the use of gas, is using a lighter(specificaly a bic) being a hypocrite?
I have spent the past year learning to be eco-friendly and to help reduce my carbon footprint, it has been a hard transition to green living but I intend to keep it up, but this morning im looking at my lighter and thinking, hm is lighter fluid apart of the oil based companies im fighting against? If so what are my options to replace it to more green

The point of trying to improve yourself is one thing, but you cant be doing radical changes, if stop using everything that uses oil you cant buy/acquire most products that exist as result of oil refinement, but you can improve ecological footprint (recycling and careful choosing products that it your concerns)
