I am helping throw an eco friendly shower and need ideas..mainly for activities/games.
I thought of having people help decorate an organic cotton onesy with soy based paints? Or maybe having people write special messages/wishes to the baby to go into a special keep sake book….what else???

I have absolutely no experience with baby showers, but there are some basic and obvious things you can do:
1. Request that the guests arrive and leave by an eco-friendly way (walking, for example).
2. Any materials used for the occasion better be eco-friendly as much as possible. (can be recycled or biodegradable, for example).
3. Let all people present for the occasion to have a discussion focused on two questions: what is the most eco-friendly way to bring up a child and how to teach the child the important values of green living. (You can discuss about any other green questions, if you want)
4. Games can be environmentalism-related. Design the games in such a way that to win, you have to be the greenest!
5. Basically, make environmentalism a dominant theme for the occasion without ignoring the baby—-after all, it’s a baby shower.
What else…. basically, make EVERY SINGLE DETAIL as eco-friendly as possible. If people got annoyed just ignore them. EARTH FIRST!
