Question by prolific.dreamer: How do i go about living and working in the US?
I’m an english electrical engineer with a masters degree in electrical engineering. I have 10 years experience working in the Royal Navy as an Weapons Engineer (Engineering Technician) Officer and have always wanted to live in Newport Beach, CA. How would I go about finding work and gaining visas and so on and so forth. Also does anyone have any idea of the demand for electrical engineers and the salaries I can command with my qualifications and experience?

You need to find a job in order to get entry and this must be done before you arrive in the US. Try looking for a specialist agency or contacting some firms in that area who might need your skills.
