Question by dark by design: Any more advances in architecture and engineering?
What other advances can we expect, if any, in architecture and engineering? Have we reached our limit for our lifetimes?
Also, do you have any info regarding future building techniques?

On the contrary, as new materials and processes are developed we may be able to build bigger, taller, stronger.
In the future we can definitely expect to see taller buildings. Frank Lloyd Wright’s mile-high building may finally become a reality. We can also expect to see building more resistant to tornadoes and earthquakes. Eventually we will begin to see archologies – super massive man-made structures that contain entire self-sufficient habitats.
