I hear on the news how green jobs ‘are available’, but what exactly are they and how does one go about getting a ‘green job’?

Generally it refers to a position dealing in or servicing established or emerging technologies designed to conserve energy, use renewable energy, or decrease harm to the environment. In the literal sense it could refer to anything from working in a recycling center, to delivering new-style light bulbs, to selling or repairing hybrid cars. Know what you’re getting into.
