Green Walls Living Walls What are some very cold hardy epiphytes?

Question by Brice: What are some very cold hardy epiphytes?
I’m building a green wall and I would prefer to have it built outside. Unfortunately I live in USDA zone 5a. Are there any epiphytic plants (or any plants that have a shallow root system and a short growth habit) that can tolerate hard freezes to both the top and the bottom of the plant?
