Question by Sam C: Should we shut down all alternative energy research?
We have more important things to focus on right now, namely the economy. Every time I hear about alternative energy I think of Solyndra and other organizations that have sapped taxpayer dollars. We should just accept that fossil fuels are the only economical and realistic way to power our future for the time being.

The free market wont allow it. To much demand for alternative power.
