Question by love_or_hate_lifeistooshort: HI visa, 1040 or 1040NR?
I am on H1 visa for last 6 years. I live in US all round the year, no green card yet. My tax consultant used to file my tax. This time, filing on my own. Should I use 1040 or 1040NR? Any quick response appreciated.

If you meet the 183 day test you use 1040.
