Go Green Tips When should I put my Orchid in a pot?

Question by Shannon: When should I put my Orchid in a pot?
About two months ago, I bought a mini Phalaenopsis Orchid. It was my first, and I was being careful with watering since I knew I could kill it if I over-watered and looking up how to care for it. But, I bought it from a supermarket that doesn’t have a floral department, the employees just water the plants, so it was in bad condition when I got it, I just didn’t know. After about a week two of the blossoms had dropped and I noticed that the roots were a brown instead of the shiny, minty green the roots should be except for two little ones not even a centimeter long. When I took it out of the pot all the roots were the same brown and falling off with the moss. I looked up what to do and found the “Sphag and Bag” (sorry if I misspelled) method. I did that, and was about to give up hope when it didn’t seem to be making any progress until I checked today and noticed the two small roots had bright green tips on them and seemed a bit longer than when I last checked. Will two roots be enough to support my plant and keep it alive or should I wait longer? If two is enough, how long should the roots be before I put the plant back in a pot?
