Question by ellagirl: How can I help preserve farmland in my community?
I live in the same city that I did as a child. There was and is still some farmland. I want to help save it, and preserve it, and I am concerned that one day these areas will have strip malls, or houses on them. I don’t know how to go about helping to preserve these areas. What can I do? Who do I get in touch with to help start this process? Thank you in advance for your help!

Although I don’t know where you are from, every state has its own guidelines. I suggest looking up your local DNR (Dept of Natural Resources).
