Question by JohnyD: A LEED Green Associate?
I want to get certified to be a LEED Green Associate. However, what does it really mean to have this type of certification in a real job. Would a construction company would be interested in a candidate that has this type of skills? Where else can I use this type of certification?
Please help!

It will help with jobs that are specific to ARRA recovery grants jobs. There has been a lot of money given to States to provide for upgrading our infrastructure to a greener way. A LEED training will help you for sure in an Engineering Consulting Firm, or State Environmental agency, or Federal Environmental firms. There are a greater number of construction companies who are going green and you would be a valuable asset to them as well.
