Question by Chico: My green cheek won’t sleep in his bed?
I have a tent style one and also one that is completely enclosed with a little hole in the front and he won’t go near either of them. Not even to play in.
I cover the cage at night time so he doesn’t get any drafts but I just feel bad he sleeps on his perch every night and I know he could be warmer and more comfy. It’s been about 2 months and he still won’t sleep in them.
Any suggestions.

Animals and humans are different, they see things totally different than we do. They can sleep perk up in a comfortable way unlike us. So please don’t stress yourself out too much. If they can survive living without a comfortable bed in the wild then they are fine living with you. You can’t force your green cheek where to sleep, just give him the option for a while and if he doesn’t use it then give up. Though it was a nice thought.
If it’s concerning you, you can consult with a vet.
Good Luck
