Question by V: sustainable architecture good career option?
Also called “green” architecture. I’m just wondering if this will be a good career option and is this career on demand?
Right now I’m about to attend my first year of college this September and I’m about to major in biological science and probably work somewhere in the medicine field. But the thing is I have always wanted to be an architect or some type of designer (cars, toys w/e) but when I told my parents that I wanted to be an architect they said that was a bad idea because since architecture is really low right now, i might not be able to get a job right away, unlike in the medicine field were job rate is always on demand. Also we dont have a lot of money to blow for my tuition so i really want to make the right decision, take a risk and follow my dream job, or suck it up and follow my parents advice.

Don’t go with architecture… Medicine might be expensive but if you can get a job right out of college and hunker down you can pay off that debt within a few years.
