Copper (II) Sulfate: blue green solid; makes a deep blue aqueous solution

reaction of lead (II) nitrate with sodium iodide in aqueous solution (clear) produces lead (II) iodide, a bright yellow precipitate.

Although, what kind of precipitate you want to produce depends on what you are trying to get to react.

I don’t know of any sodium salts that are yellow. They are usually white.
