Green Living Walls what goes well with a sea green painted wall?

Question by ken k: what goes well with a sea green painted wall?
Im trying to paint my living room and tried to get a neon green / bright green colored like color on my walls. I mixed forest green and white paint together, now my living room looks TERRIBLE. Is there any sort of effect I could add on top of this ugly color to make my living room look decent? I was thinking of adding a white sponge effect however I failed miserably the first time so I’m sure of what to do.

Sponge paint a tan color over the green. White would be too much of a contrast. After you sponge the tan, try a darker green sponge. Also, using a pearl type paing to sponge a third color could help. I did this in my bedroom and I really like it. I only did one wall – all four walls might be overwhelming. You could put a chair rail and only sponge the top or the bottom of the wall. If you really hate it – just pick another color and start over! Paint is pretty cheap – especially if you are going to end up hating your room. Good Luck!
