I have a green screen at home, and i know how to film using it, but how do I edit a background onto it?

A green screen is an advanced conglomeration of light and sound that is the subclass of the FLPP. Attempting to use a green screen in an area of less then 2 hundred and 96 billion miles wide, would result in a complete meltdown.
