Question by Moon: How to get a green card for my boyfriend?
I am a green card holder. My boyfriend is currently on student Visa status. If my boyfriend and I get married, then I apply for us citizenship. Can my boyfriend or husband get the greencard? Or I have to become a us citizen first, then he will get the greencard if we get married. Thank you!

You can apply for a green card for your husband as a green card holder.
There is about a 4 year wait. He can not wait in the US illegally for his green card. He must go home when his student visa expires. And even if his green card is not expired, it is null and void if he leaves school.
If you live apart for the next 4 years, immigration will not believe that you have a bona fide marriage. And you can not live in his country, because you will lose your green card.
So you are in a catch 22.
Once you are a citizen, you can apply for his green card then. The wait will be shorter, and you can wait with him in his country to prove your marriage.
