What is more beautiful the first few days with green trees or the peak of fall color in New England? I am curious what others think?

I would say the first few days with green trees. I would say this because i live in a state with a very short summer and a long winter, therefore when i see the peak of fall color i know that the dreaded winter is approaching, but when the green trees show i know the heat will be arriving and the school year will be ending and many sports seasons will begin.
