i have about 400 download speed and 128 upload speed can i play on xbox live with it i dnt plan to host any games though so is it ok.just want to know
ooh and what if my 360 is the only device using my router and my computer isnt in use will that be more of an affect to it.

yep you might get the occasional lag
i even had slower internet when i lived in Turkey lol and i got decent connection and lagged becuase well… it was foreign internet lol
