Question by MockingJay: How do filmmakers use green screen?
Green Screen can and is used to put live actors into an animated scene e.g. a moving car when its not actually driving along. But how do the film Makers actually use green screen to do it?

Specialized software removes the green background, allowing the actors to be superimposed over other footage. Sometimes a blue screen is used instead. In any case the green/blue screen is chosen simply because the software needs a single color to identify and remove.
