Question by Kevin7: have scientists used jelly-fish biochemistry to create a laser?
science news article

Best answer:

Answer by Richard B
not likely but possible

for a laser you need two things.
1) a source of energy for light, chemistry, other light, electrical power etc
2) a way to control and make the light “line up, and march in step”. ordinary light is disorganized like a mob coming out of a game stadium Laser light is like soldiers all marching in step

All science leads to new knowledge. jelly fish like some other marine creatures can Glow and mike light by biological chemistry. like “fire flies”. understanding this is important
