Question by Dani: Can I dye my hair black it I have green tips?
I have a natural dark brown hair colour and I bleached the tips and dyed them blue. The blue faded to green and I have no interest in redying it. If I dye my hair black, will the tips go black as well, or will it turn a different colour? I don’t want to cut my hair due to traditional reasons but I will if I have to. I just really don’t want the green in it anymore.

The black dye will definitely cover up the green completely.
When the black dye fades, like the blue did, your tips will probably be much lighter than the rest of your hair due to the fact that they were bleached. The damage caused by the bleach will cause the dye to not adhere as well as say the more healthier hair which has not been bleached.
If you use a good permanent brand of hair dye you can dye your tips a brown to match your natural preexisting hair color and it will cover the green as well.
