Question by Too Curious: What percentage of crimes result in an arrest?
I have read a recent article about a homeless lady in Texas who was struck by a car, dragged for about 25 feet, then left in the road as the carloaded with young men speed off.
It made me wonder how many crimes do not have any leads, or cannot be proved beyond a reasonable doubt. Does anyone or publication have these statistics of number of crimes versus number of close cases with arrests?
Thank you in advance to all law enforcement people out there. You don’t get near the amount of money you should!
