Question by Jax’s Mommy: What do you do for your kiddos b-days? How does it compare to what you had as a child?
Also, as a parent are you less inclined to make a big deal out of your own b-day?

We just invite friends and family over for a few hours. Let the kids play, the adults mingle. Then we have cake and open presents. Not a huge deal around here.
I am much less inclined to celebrate my birthday seeing as mine is 8 days before hers. I’d much rather my money go towards a celebration for her than one for me.
