To me, it’s a product that is made from natural materials, recycled or recycable, and not made with any toxic chemicals or things that could harm any other animals or plants. It’s basically, something I wouldn’t be afraid of if I accidentally got some in my mouth or if my dog chewed on it I wouldn’t have to worry about him getting sick either.

I’ll pay a bit more for eco-friendly products, yes, but only within a limit. I’ll pay $ 3.00 for a bottle of eco-friendly dishsoap, but not $ 10.00. I’ll pay $ 50.00 for bamboo sheets or organic cotton clothing, but not $ 100.00 for the same. I feel like if it’s so eco-friendly why does it cost so much to replace something toxic and manufactured with something natural and easily obtainable; so I won’t pay for it unless I know it will be worth it in the long term. I sound a little hypocritcal, but that’s how it falls sometimes.

I work as a housekeeper, so I’m involved with acidic, burning chemicals all day, it’s nice to be able to ‘treat’ myself to things that are natural and not so noxious.. I’m 23 years old.
