Question by Tadpole: What is the evolutionary path for humanity? Where do we go from here?
As in, what makes one human more advanced than another human, just as in nature, within other species, superior members of that species need to thrive to advance that species. Yes this is Eugenics, but I am not talking about controlling a population, just future evolution of humanity (which you must believe if you believe in evolution).
So what makes a human being superior?
Is it the ability to accumulate wealth? Is it the billionaires, and business tycoons? They are able to provide the most, are these the superior humans? However, they have succumbed to greed, and ego greater than most other people.
Is it the politicians? The ones who have risen to power, and control governments? However, most of them are morons who know how to give a speech.
Is it men like the Navy SEALs, SAS, Green Berets, etc. that are able to conquer unimaginable obstacles in life, and keep going no matter what? My personal opinion is that these are the greatest men on the face of the planet (look at what they achieve after the military as well), but to play devil’s advocate, they are the very rowdy, and I can see how to could be a detriment to a future humanity.
Is it the spiritual keepers of humanity? Those who devote all thought to understanding the essence of consciousness, origin of suffering, and the spiritual energy that surrounds us? These men are wise, and peaceful, but can they advance the species?
What about the scientists and inventors? They are peaceful (for the most part), and intelligent. They create the actual advancements of humanity. But many of these people have their flaws, whether it be mental illness or being socially inept.
Now obviously there are exceptions to all of these generalizations, but from my experience, and what I’ve seen these are the general trends. Remember exceptions do not debunk generalizations.
I didn’t mention Academics because Academia is run by political indoctrination and ego. Most people who live their lives for Academics do so because they cannot succeed in the real world. They are nothing more than educated morons.
And what would be the ideal future for humanity? Would it be advanced technology, and unimaginable marvels that we build? Or is it a world were all people seek enlightenment, and live in peace? Can we achieve both at the same time? They seem to contradict each other though. Personally, I think we should focus on enlightenment first, and then move onto technology when are a bit wiser.
So if you read all of that, and thank you if you did, what do you think an evolutionary advanced human is? What will an evolutionary advanced humanity look like?
@Harley Drive, what is natural selection in society? Especially with the class and trend manipulation of the media which has such an impacting effect on humanity. What will make humanity greater? I believe that is what is needed for humanity?

for the millionth time – there is no independent process called evolution , read darwin’s book , even the title ( which is long) defines evolution through NATURAL SELECTION not as a separate process
