all Q reduce to the same idea

what are the total number of possible outcomes at any time

what is the number of desired outcomes in the same group

P success is the fraction : desired # / total #

percent is the fraction expressed a percent

a coin has two sides: one head, one tail
probability of head is 1/2 = 50% ( ignoring the possibility that it might land on edge)
