Question by thes2000girl: Do they allow you to bring SLR cameras to concert venues with just a regular admission ticket?
I’m going to my first big concert and watch Green Day live this 21st. And I really want to take pictures. But according to my ticket’s term and conditions, cameras MAY not be brought into the premises. I see a lot of people taking point and shoot cameras to concerts but not SLRs. And I want to be sure so that I won’t have my Nikon d40 confiscated if it’s not allowed.

You need to check with venue you are attending.
Many of them do not allow cameras.
Often their websites have that information.
Ballgames, for example, allow you to bring cameras,
but no tripods.
The Fillmore in SF, when I was there,
did not allow cameras.
