Question by Matt: What is the most sustainable fish to eat?
Having just complained to my dad about getting cod for dinner and suggesting haddock instead, he and I would both be interested to know whether haddock really is a more sustainable option. What is the most ethical option in a fish and chip shop – besides not getting fish and chips at all?

Cod is definitely not high on the list of sustainable fish to eat, you are right.Check out this guide:

on sustainable seafood for more information. Although you do get into some predicament, Tilapia for instance is both sustainable and tasty but it’s not local so you have the air miles to consider…. Sadly it’s looking like we generally have to cut down on our sea food consumption
