Question by Robert C: Is the income to cost of living in Central Florida much different than Boston area?
Exploring options. Florida has been a tough experience for my wife and I. I suppose there are struggles every where. My sister-in-law has continually suggested to try it out up there where here family is. But the grass will always seem greener on the other side.

Salary.com has a nice cost of living calculator.
Basically it shows a 47% increase in the cost of living from Orlando to Boston. This is compared to only a 22% increase in the average salary. Plus houses are more expensive in Boston and don’t forget the dreaded winters.
