Question by Actor: Why are there so few Holy People in public, in the West?
In other places they are more present. You can see their robes, their shaved heads, their simpler living and their public charitably good works.
In the west nuns, monks, these people are few & far between. Why is this and what effects does it have on our society?

Not many people really care about religion, they believe but they don’t go to church. Most male members of any religious sect are looked down upon and are just assumed to be child molesters. If they do go out in public its usually the small local town that they live closest to and thats about it.
Well in America, we’re already going to hell in a handbasket so I suppose it really dosn’t matter anymore.
