Question by david m: turning a barracks room into a home?
I live in a Marine Corps barracks and ive went a long way in turning it from an old room into a home.

I bought a couch, a coffee table, some posters, a little bowl that goes on the table to put candy in.

I need some more ideas or reasonable tips, does anybody have any?

I’d prefer Marine responders because they’ll know what I’m working with here, but anyone is welcome

To add warmth place an area rug in front the sofa/under the coffee table
(choose a rug that pulls out the colors in your poster)
