Question by Jane T: What should I do about the cover on my air-conditioner?
I just bought a condo and it hasn’t had any updated design. Its pretty 70′s. It has an air-conditioner on the top of the living room wall. It has a cover that is painted white just like the wall. I would like to do something with it to make it look nice and I want to also paint the walls. The cover sticks out about 5 inches. What should I do with it and what are some trendy colors to paint our walls?

I would recommend you to change a new air conditioner.
Since the cover has been painted over,
I would assume the air conditioner must be pretty old.
It is power inefficiency and may make loud noises,
old wires may be dangerous too.
A new air conditioner can eliminated all the potential
problems, and save you cost of doing anything on
the old cover.
Pale pink, light green or bright yellow are
all pretty trendy now. Nevertheless, off white
is always good for any trendy color furniture
you put in your room.
