Going Green Q&A: What colour would a plant be if no green light was present?

Question by Bob: What colour would a plant be if no green light was present?
We all know plants only appear green because chlorophyll absorbs green light. So what if there was no green light present? What colour would the plant be?

Chlorophyll “reflects” the green light and this, is why it is green in color. In order for no green light to be present, there would have to be no prism light which includes blue and yellow, so basicly we would all be living in the middle of a “I Love Lucy Show”
