Question by Lisa: vacations on the east coast that dont require a car as means of transportation?
me and my boyfriend want to go on a mini vacation. maybe about 3 nights or so over a weekend. we dont have a car and are on somewhat of a budget. we live in nyc and want to visit another city on the eastcoast (already been to boston). recommendations please!

The DC area is nice and you can walk all over. Another, cheaper destination would be Baltimore. If you stay downtown, you could spend an entire weekend just walking around at the harbor area.
