Green Smart Living Green Anoles Lifespan.?

Question by Echidna eats an enchilada: Green Anoles Lifespan.?
Ok, I feel like a complete idiot asking this (no smart remarks please) but I need to know how long male green anoles live. I have 2 and they have been alive for 3 to 4 years. I couldn’t believe it because I was told that at most they could live to be 2 or 3. Obviously I was told wrong. I need to know how long they live. They are very well taken care of, so when they die it will probably be because of old age.
Before anyone says something I’ll answer some possibilities…
1. Yes, I’m positive that they are green anoles
2. No they are not aliens or anything stupid that someone will probably say
3. Yes, I know I was told wrong, but now I would like to be told right
4. Please don’t re-direct me to a website unless it is really good
5. I volunteer at a zoo with reptiles and other animals so I’m not completely ignorant about this, don’t say something stupid (see #2)
6. Please help me
7. Thanks

Actually Green Anoles, if kept correctly, can live up six or seven years at most. I have Green Anoles myself and my oldest one is several years old.

What do you think? Answer below!
