Question by tamisue: re-decorating my living room?
Help! I want to totally re-do my living room…I have already purchased the sofa/loveseat (dark brown leather) and carpet has been put down (a sage green). It is a small room, with a brick fireplace/wood mantle. My taste is pretty ecclectic: I love antiques and that whole *shabby* thing. We are very laid back and want comfort and function above all, and I want everyone who walks in to feel ‘at home’. Does anyone know where I can pick up some ideas for decorating? I am tired of my old stuff and I am replacing it all–my problem is I don’t have a clue or direction on where to go or what to do. Any books/magazines/websites anyone recommends?
