Pure Green Living Rescued stray pure White Cat/Kitten with Green eyes?

Question by : Rescued stray pure White Cat/Kitten with Green eyes?
Hi! I’m 17 years old and live with my father and a stray cat/kitten has been hanging around our house for almost a week now…. and today I finally let it inside and fed it some meat loaf, tuna, water and a tiny bit of milk it’s pretty small for a cat though so it might be a 6-5 month old kitten? it’s pure white and has green eyes, She’s also a bit dirty but not too much also it’s a female…. I’ve kept it inside since this afternoon till now which is 9:16 pm right now as it’s been raining heavily today so I decided to let the poor thing inside and I’ve given it a low cut cardboard box with a soft cloth inside to sleep in, I’m just worried that it might have some kind of illness as it’s meow doesn’t come out properly as it’s very scratchy kind of like when you’ve just woken up or really thirsty? We couldn’t take it to the vet today since all the shops are closed and it is a national holiday where I live, I have also read that white cats are usually deaf but I’ve tested that by calling her and she straight away wakes up and looks at me… Should I take it to the vet to see if it’s sick especially because she doesn’t meow properly? Also I don’t think she belongs to anyone else as she is quite dirty as I said before and she doesn’t have a collar, Also when I fed her the meat loaf she went crazy trying to knock the bowl out of my hands so she seemed really hungry, She is quite comfortable sleeping at the moment but I am also worried about my own health since she might contain some kind of disease should make her stay outside till we can take her to the vet?

i just adopted a 4 month old cat yesterday (after my other cat died 10 days ago =(
anyway, she may be shy. but i would go to the vet tomorrow. but try and feed her some milk and soft foods. maybe play with her.
theres a good chance she could have an illness since she lived outside. just try and keep her warm and always have food and water to drink 24/7, but take her to the vet tomorrow
