Green Energy When the east coast losses its electricity from Irene, will the money spent on green energy projects be missed?

Question by AKA SKUNK-APE: When the east coast losses its electricity from Irene, will the money spent on green energy projects be missed?
i’m in Beaumont Tx….We have gone through several hurricanes in the past few yrs.,and the power is always knocked out…Today with energy costs “skyrocketing” under Obama,AND THE ENVIRONMENTALISTS,and more and more money being diverted to green energy;how much has this affected the distribution and reliability of electricity? The power there will be knocked out for at least a couple of weeks…how will they deal with it?
will money redirected towards green energy effect the old reliable power-grid?
will the windmills collapse?

The real question is: can green energy save the Eastern Seaboard?

Can’t liberal projects harness all that wind power?
