I don’t know what type of turtle your are raising. I assume it is a aquatic turtle. They need a uvb heat lamp. This gives them vitamin D for their shell to grow. Keeping them in too small of a tank will make them stressed and they probably won’t eat any food. Make sure it is warm or they could get R.I. (Respiratory Infection) The science project is probably going to give the turtle a lack of nutrition.
